If you're anything like me, you promised yourself you were going to do all of your Christmas shopping in the Black Friday sales.
And.... if you're anything like me, you didn't do that and are still scrambling to get the last few gifts together.
So, we thought it would be fun to put together a list of gifts that we're buying for our fundraising friends.
Oddballs spinning plates
Everyone knows that a good fundraiser is probably spinning too many plates at once. So, we thought it would be a good chance to get some practice out in the real world. What is two weeks off if not time for physical exercise?
Book of Sudoku
If you've ever tried to do a trust application or a corporate pitch that needs to make your numbers look perfect, you'll know that practising sudoku is a very good skill to have. Making the right numbers fit in the right boxes can be transformational for your cause, so get your practice in this Christmas!
If all else fails...
Remember that trustees and CEOs often think that our job as a fundraiser is just to 'go shake some money off some trees', so a money tree is a good catch-all. You can be gobby and green all at the same time!
Obviously we're joking.
Good gifts for fundraisers probably include things to help them sleep, help them breathe, and things to help them capture their stories (good stationary never goes a miss...).
We hope this raised a smile all the same. We'd love to hear what you're looking forward to this Christmas!
