We did it! We made it to February! The days are getting longer and we’re only a week or two away from the sun setting after work, rather than during. I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely felt this winter more than the usual - and I’ve started to really plan my calendar with things to look forward to help me get through it. I thought it’d be nice to share some of those things I’m looking forward to in the next few months:

On the 18th of March at 10am, we’ll be running a free 30 minute webinar with Rachel Holborow on how to create the right kinds of partnership products. We’ll talk through what companies actually tend to pay for and how to know an opportunity is worth the time.

On the 26th of March from 12pm onwards, we’re hosting the Corporate Partnerships Conference with Fundraising Everywhere. I’ll be running a session on how to set realistic corporate fundraising targets, Lucy will be running a session on how to spot warm prospects, and the rest of the line-up will be running you through real world partnership examples. One of the sessions I’m looking forward to most is Brogan Pierce’s session on what companies do for CSR outside of working with charities, and what we can learn from that as a sector.

From the 14th April, we’ll be running our Corporate Fundraising training called Ignite. You’ll get a chance to meet a number of other corporate fundraisers and learn evidence based ways to have your best year yet. Covering everything from how to be ‘big partner ready’ through to landing the deals themselves, this is not one to be missed.

Will I catch you at any of these events? I’d love you to reply and let me know.

PS: the temptation to do a 'what fundraisers can learn from Bridgerton' is creeping up on me, but I can't stop watching long enough to write down any ideas...
