What We Do
Become the fundraiser your organisation needs
Your charity exists to solve pressing problems. Fireside Fundraising exists to help you.
You know your cause - we know corporate partnerships. We bring the skills, tools and processes you need to create your own strategies – meaning the work we do is truly different with every organisation. This means the wins you get are truly your wins – and you become your own corporate partnerships specialist.
In the words of one client:
'Working with Fireside has really focussed our fundraising. We've got a clear list of quality prospects and a clear, repeatable process to get more. We know what we're offering these companies and have established momentum. We've been coached to find our own answers, and because of that, know our approach will have more staying power.'

Our most popular services include...
Shape your story-led strategy
We’ll work with you to create your emotional, logical and credible way of explaining why an individual or organisation should support your charity. We identify your strongest individual stories, and how you go from telling one person’s story to telling the story of your organisation.
This often involves building a template pitch deck, a proposal template and a report with recommendations to ensure your fundraisers have access to fresh, high-quality stories. It can also be charity-wide storytelling training, which we love.
Ignite your corporate pipeline
We’ll work with you to identify the warmest prospects that have major partnership potential. This almost always starts with a ‘what good looks like’ workshop, creating objective partnership criteria for your organisation. We then work with you to understand who your colleagues, supporters and service users might be able to introduce you to. We then use these criteria to identify the highest impact and most realistic supporters under your nose.
This usually means we create a pipeline of qualified corporate prospects, a corporate engagement plan and a clear set of testimonials from potential corporate allies.
Price your partnership offers
We’ll work with you to answer two of the hardest questions to answer in corporate partnerships: ‘what should I offer, and what should I be charging?’ We’ll work with you to create your corporate partnerships ‘menu’, and then look at how you can value those partnerships accordingly.
We’ll most commonly build a template partnership menu with ideal and minimum pricing, your charity’s way of handling negotiations and a live example of a well-priced partnership.
Act as your corporate co-pilot
We’ll work with you in a lighter touch way to bring your corporate fundraising to new heights. We’ll bring behavioural science and best practice from the sector; you’ll bring the knowledge of your organisation that ensures the end result really works for you.
This often looks like facilitating team away days for bigger teams, or our Corporate Firestarter Course for individuals, where we teach you to write your own corporate partnerships strategy – from how you’ll pitch through to how you’ll meet your regulatory requirements. It’ll also commonly involve ongoing monthly support or individual mentoring sessions, ensuring your team stay on track.
Fire-up your team
We also offer bespoke training packages. Our most common sessions are how budget holders make decisions, the 5 step storytelling method or an intensive corporate fundraising crash course.
If you’re looking for someone to facilitate a team day, create a strategy in a day or get your team to fall back in love with your cause, let us know. The outputs of these days are always different, but the result is always the same: confidence, consistency and more cash being raised.

Just so you know...
We're not right for everyone
It’s worth noting that in line with limited capacity, we can’t say yes to every project that we’re offered. While we’re keen to help all the organisations we can, we tend to decline work that we think is likely to sit in a drawer rather than help you do better fundraising.
We also tend not to work with secular organisations, and occasionally decline projects that are too close to the bone of our colleagues’ lived experience. In any case, we’d love to hear from you - even if we end up signposting you to someone who’s a better fit!
