4 Free Fundraising Resources For You

I don’t know about you, but these heat waves have really caught me off guard - I expected the first one, but the more recent waves have caught me emotionally unprepared. I’m trying to get important work done while my entire body is sweating. My poor tower fan is working overtime - no annual leave for that thing in sight. If you have any tips for keeping cool, I’d love to hear them. In exchange, I thought I’d send you the free webinars we’ve taken part in this year that you might’ve missed - giving you a chance to catch up over a hopefully quieter few weeks. Each of our webinars was formed around a central question, and they’re below:

The first webinar was an interview with Chris Pitt, Group Impact Director of the Benefact Group, one of the top five corporate givers in the UK. We discussed what companies do - and don’t - need from their corporate partners and tried to answer the most important questions from the chatbox.

This webinar is a chat with the impossible to imitate Caroline Danks, who runs a yearly benchmarking study in fundraising return on investment. We dug into the numbers of corporate fundraising, the two approaches to corporate prospecting (and how they impact your ROI) and all things strategy.

This interview with Saramine Mukute was one of my favourite conversations of the year. We dug into the structures that companies can take, and what that means for how you steward them. Saramine dropped banger after banger of examples - running through how she’s stewarded everything from a family owned business to a global corporation. If you only check out one on this list, make it this one!

Lastly, we spoke to Heather Nelson from BridgeRaise about our research into Why Companies Give. We spoke about what you need to make a powerful approach, and the first steps you might want to take to get started.

Hopefully one of these four sessions meets you where you are today - but if there’s any burning questions we’ve missed, just hit reply and let me know!

See you by the Fireside soon?

Andy
