Three things to look forward to

Last week, we shared Rachel Holborow’s research into the reality of what it’s like to be a corporate fundraiser. The research showed us how much potential there is for corporate fundraising, but also how hard it can be, so we wanted to share three things to look forward to:
1. Christmas. The John Lewis and Coca-Cola adverts are out, meaning Mariah Carey has thawed and… 🎶 It’s Time. 🎶 If there’s one thing the sector needs right now, it’s a break: I hope you get the chance to be with your family and switch off.
2. Corporate Fundraising Conference. We’re delighted to be the curators and headline partners of Fundraising Everywhere’s annual corporate fundraising conference, with confirmed speakers covering topics from how to start a corporate programme from scratch to the story of turning down a million dollar donation. From 12pm - 4pm on the 26th March, with 30 days of replay recordings, you can get your tickets here.
3. Ignite - Corporate Fundraising Skills Series. We’re also launching our first ever cohort-based training course, where we’ll run you through the five modules you need to ignite your corporate fundraising potential. From the full insights into Why Companies Give through to how to build an evidence-based corporate target, we’ll be launching with more information in our next newsletter. Places are £600 + VAT for over 15 hours of training and a cohort of peers to give support and solidarity: reply ‘ignite’ if you’d like first dibs at the few places available!
We’d love to know what you’re looking forward to - whether it’s some roast potatoes or simply some time off.
See you by the Fireside soon?
