This year is racing away from me. I took a week out of sick leave recently, and came back to find out that it’s June!? We really need to speak to someone about slowing down the clock.
With the advent of summer, there’s a lot of things I’m looking forward to that I wanted to share with you:
AI masterclass - on Tuesday 16th June, our friends at Ziptrix will be collaborating with ethical good to give a London based, in-person masterclass on how to use AI in fundraising. Based on how much they’ve taught me, I know you’re in for a treat.
Pizza for Losers - our favourite event of the year is back on the 30th of June. It’s like a conference but with a lot less ego and a lot more pizza.
I’ll be there, sharing the story of how in a previous organisation I set myself and my team up for failure with unrealistic targets - and what I learned from it.
Our next training course we have dates for the next corporate fundraising skills series, where we teach you everything from how to make an elevator pitch through to how to know how much a prospect is worth. Starting on the 3rd of November, it’s weekly workshops to give you everything you need to succeed.
Then, finally, less an event and more an opportunity. Home-Start UK, a gorgeous charity that we’re really excited to work with, are hiring for a new business manager. If you’re looking for a new opportunity in an emotive cause and a supportive culture, this could be for you!
